Full Job Description

This position will be assigned to the JBSA Randolph Golf Course. This is a Flexible category position with guaranteed 00 hrs. per week. May work up to 40 hours per week.

Employees appointed to a Flexible category position are not eligible for benefits. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: This is an entry level position, no experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas. 1. Knowledge of golf course operations and the game of golf. 2.

Skilled in decision making experience in a retail or customer service environment.

Major Duties:

Employee is responsible for the daily accountability, security and timely deposit of all finds generated by the snack bar and pro shop.

Provides general guidance to other employees such as driving range personnel, cart barn employees, snack bar attendants and pro shop recreation aides.

Assists golfers and pro shop customers in the selection of merchandise and maintains an orderly flow of golfers on the course. Secures the facility at the completion of the days activities.
