This position is located at the Fort Bliss Tennis Club/Fitness Zone.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possesses related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above: 1.

Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility.

Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.

Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events,athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. 2.

Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material. 3. Issues/receives equipment to authorized users.

Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.

NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents.

  • Facility Sanitation: Maintain the fitness center and restrooms in accordance with MWR cleanliness standards.
  • Event Coordination: Facilitate league play by managing court logistics, player check-ins, and basic first-aid assistance.
  • Technical Court Maintenance: Perform groundskeeping and equipment upkeep, including net installation and windscreen management.
  • Program Support: Administer registration and attendance for adult and junior tennis programs to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Guest Relations: Manage facility access through ID verification, equipment rentals, and ball machine setup.
