Job Description

Summary

This job involves helping run a fitness center on a U.S.

Army base in Germany, where you'll set up for classes and events, handle equipment, promote activities, and ensure patrons have a good experience.

It's a hands-on support role in a recreational setting, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active, and keeping facilities in top shape.

Entry-level candidates with some customer service or maintenance experience would fit well.

Full Job Description

This position is located at USAG Ansbach - MWR, Ansbach Fitness Center, Ansbach, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possesses related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above.

  • Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions.
  • Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material.
  • Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.
  • Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
