About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Aquatics Center, Ramstein AB, Germany. This position does not offer logistical support.
Provide customer service to patrons by answering questions and providing information on fees, programs and operating hours; Enforce Aquatic Center rules, regulations, and policies.

Citizens of Germany (including dual citizenship if Germany is one of the countries) as well as "ordinarily resident" US citizens are not eligible for NAF employment per SOFA agreement.
If not already in the commuting area, must be able to verify the ability to arrive before a firm job offer can be sent.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Preferred knowledge and understanding of the rules, regulations, practices, and procedures directly related to the Aquatic Center.
Knowledge of and experience with cash handling procedures are desired. Knowledge of and experience with food handling practices are desired.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers both orally and in writing is necessary.
Must be able to work all shifts on days, evenings, weekends and holidays and has the ability to lift more than 20 lbs. Major Duties:
Provide customer service to patrons by answering questions and providing information on fees, programs and operating hours; Enforce Aquatic Center rules, regulations, and policies.
Sell and process passes, activities, lane reservations, swim accessories, and snack bar items using the RecTrac Point of Sales System; Safeguard fees collected from customers.
Prepare food that is sold from the Snack Bar and report spoilage.
Complete daily and weekly front counter opening/closing and cleaning checklists during assigned shifts; perform general maintenance and maintain cleanliness and organization of Front desk, Lobby, Snack Bar and Snack Bar kitchen areas ensuring that equipment is operating properly and meets health code standards.
Report any issues to Recreation Assistant or Supervisor. Assist the Programmer with special events, birthday parties and other programs when needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
