Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Theme Parks, attractions, and hotels is preferred. Minimum one year experience in a related recreational activity, customer service, and cash handling skills.

Skill to demonstrate activities and use of related facility equipment. Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures.

This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Major Duties:

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Incumbent is assigned to ITT Office. Assists and serves customers with location, selection, purchase of tickets, and leisure services.

Completes sales transactions utilizing cash register. Assists in inventories, ensures proper accountability and security of assigned area(s).

Assists with daily sales, daily activities reporting, period-end, and month-end processes. Performs and/or assists in the operation of the recreation activity.

Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants.

Assists with accountability of event tickets, and other related items through such means as frequent inventories and an established record keeping system.

Informs customers about various ticket and tour opportunities. Assists in keeping brochure and marketing information current and organized. Helps maintain a clean and inviting facility.

Team member must exhibit continuous self-education of products, services, activities within MCCS, local attractions and leisure activities across the country.

Assists with issuance of airline tickets and other accountable documents used by the travel agency within the ITT Office.

Performs or assists in the operation of the travel agency as needed and available.

Carries out assigned phases of the designated activity applying an understanding of the interests and needs of program participants. May oversee sale of retail items associated with activities.

Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.

Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.

Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
