This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Major Duties:

  • Exercise a thorough knowledge of real estate laws, principles, and practices combined with information processing methods/techniques and budgetary processes in the performance of duties.
  • Apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of the real estate support for the Air Force, Air National Guard and the National Guard Bureau.
  • Review, analyze and implement latest Air Force real estate guidance, as well as required and proposed changes to methods and procedures to be utilized in developing and monitoring program progress.
  • Utilize a general knowledge of all real estate functions to assist others in identifying all project expenses and future funding needs.
  • Systems Manager and functional administrator for the Program Management Office's (PMO) SharePoint and other automated systems as required for PMO execution, especially in the area of budgeting and finance.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to management in identifying work processes which could be automated regarding the acquisition, management, and disposal of real property.
