Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing a large portfolio of real estate agreements for Navy installations in California, ensuring they support military missions while minimizing risks and maximizing property value through deals like leases with private developers.
The role requires advising top Navy leaders on property matters, leading teams on complex projects, and coordinating with external groups to handle land use and legal issues.

You will serve as a REALTY OFFICER in the REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, coordinating, tracking and/or executing of a variety of Real Estate agreements in support of Department Of Navy missions; 2) Providing Subject Matter Expertise and experienced council to Navy leadership for real estate matters; 3) Initiating, developing and coordinating of requirements supporting third party real estate agreements such as Commercial Out Lease (COL) and/or Enhanced Use Lease; and 4) Leading cross-functional teams through technical aspects of conceptual planning, market analysis, legal review, criteria evaluation and acquisition strategy development for real estate agreements.
