Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading efforts to acquire land, easements, and rights-of-way for U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers projects, while managing budgets, timelines, and teams to ensure smooth real estate transactions.
It also includes negotiating with property owners, governments, and other parties, plus reviewing and auditing acquisition files for accuracy.
A good fit would be someone with experience in real estate deals, project management, and strong negotiation skills who enjoys coordinating complex government projects.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Real Estate Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This is a Lead Realty Specialist, GS-1170-12 position with USACE, Southwestern Division (SWD), Fort Worth District, Real Estate Division, in Fort Worth, TX.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Performing realty transactions involving the acquisition of project lands, easements, or right-of-ways; AND 2) Managing real estate projects including cost estimates or schedules.
