Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing and tracking real estate assets for the Navy in Hawaii, ensuring accurate records of facilities and supporting construction projects.
You'll use data tools to analyze properties, communicate findings clearly, and build team cooperation to meet goals.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in property management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team, especially if you're comfortable with databases and mapping software.
You will serve as a REAL PROPERTY ACCOUNTABILTY OFFICER in the Facility Management Division (FMD), Public Works Department of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Having the ability to expresses information to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience, and the nature of the information to make clear and convincing oral and written presentations; 2) Having the ability to encourage and facilitate cooperation, pride, trust, and group identity, to foster commitment and team spirit with others to achieve organizational goals; and 3) Utilizing analytical tools for analysis of facilities.
Knowledge and skill in relational databases, GIS and Microsoft programs.
