Summary

This job involves checking and improving quality in naval weapon systems support, ensuring everything meets strict safety and operational standards.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

1) Providing quality management experience and evaluating compliance to written requirements. 2) Developing and maintaining metrics and experience with configuration management.

3) Experience with Naval Special Emphasis Programs (SUBSAFE, Deep-Submergence Scope of Certification, Fly-By-Wire) and/or Level 1 material.

  • You will be able to exercise sound judgment and also have the ability to communicate orally and in writing during internal and NAVSEA audits.
  • You will be able to communicate inefficient or out-dated work practices.
  • You will be responsible for planning, designing and carrying out programs, projects, studies and other work under the guidance of the IWST Director.
