Full Job Description

The incumbent serves as an HR Quality Assurance Specialist evaluating staffing and recruitment actions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policy to promote consistency, accuracy, and quality across HR operations.

Location of position: GSA, Office of Human Resources, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Denver/Lakewood, CO; Kansas City, MO; Raleigh, NC; Tacoma, WA; Washington, DC, New York, NY.

The GS-0201-13 salary range starts at $108,173 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is experience independently performing staffing and recruitment actions, including job analyses, vacancy announcements, applicant evaluations, personnel actions, and pay setting for a variety of hiring authorities, including merit promotion, delegated examining, direct hire, and Pathways.

Developing and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and overall staffing quality.

Collaborating with leadership to analyze recruitment data and guide staffing decisions. Major Duties:

As a HR Quality Assurance Specialist you will perform the following duties: Performs routine quality reviews of staffing and recruitment cases, including job analyses, vacancy announcements, applicant qualifications, personnel actions, and pay setting.

Recommends and implements process improvements to meet quality standards and improve production.

Collaborates with leadership to develop analyze recruitment data and recommend solutions to support quality review activities.

Reviews and monitors the use of hiring authorities (merit promotion, delegated examining, pathways, etc.) and recommends solutions to ensure compliance.

Develops and delivers training and reference materials to promote consistency and standardization across staffing operations.
