Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

About the Position: Serves as Public Affairs Specialist for the Commanding General (CG) for the U.S. Army Center for Initial Military Training (USACIMT), a core function lead in TRADOC.
The purpose of the work is to plan, develop, implement, and assess an effective communication program in support of the commander's communication objectives.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience researching, developing, implementing, and assessing communication strategies for internal and external audiences; experience developing materials such as news stories, news releases, fact sheets, brochures, and broadcast quality public service announcements, features, and/or segments, photos, essays, video, and other products.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
