Full Job Description

Project Coordinator
The Department of Administration's Executive Budget Office (EBO) is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the team. Join state government with the team responsible for assisting the Governor’s Office in the development of the Executive Budget and oversight of the annual state budget for South Carolina. In this role you will coordinate projects at the direction of the EBO Director and coordinate all administrative and support activities of the Office.

Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:
  • Monitor and coordinate projects at the direction of the EBO Director to ensure projects are meeting timelines. Create organizational, planning, and tracking products and provide logistical support to inform EBO leadership of the division's efforts.
  • Plan and coordinate all support activities for EBO. Serve as the initial point of contact for the office by directing incoming calls, visitors, and correspondence to appropriate staff.
  • Serve as EBO's liaison to the Office of Administrative Services. Coordinate all human resources, finance, and procurement functions for the office and ensure completion of these processes.
  • Assist with facilitating meetings and organizing meeting logistics.
  • Serve as the point of contact for conducting the State Clearinghouse responsibilities for the South Carolina Project Notification and Review System.
  • Assist the Financial Services section by coordinating the establishment of statewide grant management activities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be highly organized with attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, handling all matters expeditiously.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Thorough knowledge of processes and procedures pertaining to project, program, or administrative coordination to include project tracking, purchase cards management, procurement, and human resources.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive information and communication requirements in a discrete manner.
