Full Job Description

This Program Assistant position is on the Certification team in the Office of Educator Services. The individual in this position will

  • process applications for certification of in-state educators;
  • review and evaluate credentials of out-of-state applicants and apply the rules for reciprocity;
  • review and evaluate experience records of educators, including teaching and work experience;
  • process requests and evaluations for adding certification fields and endorsements;
  • analyze and process class level advancement requests including Master's, Education Specialist, Doctorate, and Master’s +30;
  • respond to telephone inquiries and emails concerning all aspects of educator certification.

This position is located in the Office of Educator Services.

Requirements

A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
