Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROJECT BUSINESS AGENT in the BUSINESS & STRATEGIC PLANNING OFFICE(C1200) or the NUCLEAR BUSINESS &STRATEGIC PLANNING OFFICE(C1200N) of PSNS and IMF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the execution and coordination of planning and production work to ensure compliance and mitigate problems or trends related to project or fiscal performance.

  • You will function as the Shipyard point of contact with customers for work definition, pricing, and negotiation.
  • You will analyze and provide mitigation of problems related to fiscal performance of assigned projects.
  • You will develop, conduct, and coordinate financial briefs.
  • You will negotiate with customers to obtain funding for planning, material ordering, component pre-fabrication, and work execution.
  • You will initiate, issue, receive, or approve funding documents as appropriate.
  • You will exercise sole responsibility for oversight of budget functions involving the formation, justification, and execution of budgets for organizations, programs, or projects assigned by the Business Officer.
  • You will analyze Ships Work List Item Number (SWLIN) estimates, predicted end costs, and work completion costs to maintain fiscal control.
