Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) managing medical readiness and training system; 2) track internal movement of personnel via automated system; 3) track organization supply/inventory requisitions; and 4) assisting with processing government travel authorizations.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Business Management or Organization Management.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.

Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.

(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Major Duties:

  • Support medical readiness, training, financial reporting and other HR requirements for efficient and contingency planning.
  • Serve as Defense Medical Human Resources System internet (DMHRSi) Specialist to support medical readiness, training, financial reporting and other HR requirements for efficient and contingency planning.
  • Analyze, assess, maintain and monitor the overall operations of the Defense Medical Human Resources System internet (DMHRSi) system.
  • Manage the Defense Medical Human Resources System internet (DMHRSi) for the department/division ensuring that timesheets are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Manage the acquisition of supplies and equipment for the department.
  • Responsible for assisting the Defense Travel System (DTS) Administrator in loading, updating, and maintaining all organization elements.
  • Provide oversight, coordination, negotiation, and management of the agency’s support agreements and occupancy agreements.
