About the Position: Serves as Program Manager (DGC) at the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Garrison at Fort Hamilton, New York.
Manages and directs garrison operations of a multi-mission tenant activity.
Provides administrative program direction to various civilian directors and special staff involved in a wide variety of functional program areas.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes experience managing and directing installation support services directly affecting the accomplishment of a multi-service operation and a complex multi-mission military installation.
Experience in providing program direction, objectives, strategies and evaluations for installation support functions, operations and activities that include financial management, contracting services, law enforcement and security, housing management, family and community activities, internal review, equal opportunity, and personnel functions, technical and professional services including public works, environmental, energy, fire and emergency services.
Experience managing and evaluating the impact of operational factors, assessing fiscal soundness and taking appropriate action to ensure the operational success of installation programs and activities.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
