Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading efforts to manage and strengthen the industrial base for building and maintaining U.S.
Navy aircraft carriers, including strategy development, resource planning, and coordination with industry partners.
You'll guide teams, advise top leaders, and represent the program in meetings both inside and outside the organization.
It's a great fit for experienced professionals with a strong background in shipbuilding projects who enjoy high-level planning and communication in a government setting.
You will serve as the Director of Industrial Base in the Program Executives Office (PEO) for Aircraft Carriers at Washington Navy Yard, located in Washington D.C.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a subject matter expert in shipbuilding and ship modernization, processing comprehensive professional knowledge and extensive experience in the program management of life-cycle support for all new development aircraft carrier programs, including industrial base, new construction and in-service support.
