Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading the integration of combat and warfare systems for major Navy ship programs, like amphibious assault ships, by coordinating with various teams to ensure everything stays on budget, on schedule, and meets performance goals.
A good fit would be someone with experience managing large-scale defense projects, especially in shipbuilding or military acquisitions, who enjoys solving complex problems and working with diverse stakeholders.
It also includes supervising a team and communicating updates to leaders.
You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the the Amphibious Warfare Program Office, PMS 377 of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS.
The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing cost, schedule, performance, technical, or testing activities (e.g., combat systems, testing, logistics, budget, coordinating program requirements across internal and external stakeholders) on major shipbuilding acquisition programs.
