Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the SYSCOM SECURITY COOPERATION DEPT of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Communicating clearly with International partners via written and oral communications for the purpose of establishing requirements and executing programs; 2) Understanding of Foreign Military Sales programs to include disclosure, case development and case execution; 3) Familiarity with the defense acquisition and program execution to include development of Statements of Work and the contractual procurement process.

  • You will analyze needs and synthesizes requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning.
  • You will be responsible for the delivery of the assigned product within allocated cost, schedule, technical and support bounds.
  • You will provide management direction to all IPT members and to other personnel directly assigned or detailed to support the assigned program.
  • You will serve as the central contact point within the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program.
  • You will promulgate, assign or arrange for management control techniques and procedures to provide accurate and comprehensive information concerning the status and progress of assigned programs.
