Job Description

Summary

This job involves analyzing and managing programs related to security cooperation with international partners in the U.S.

Navy's aviation systems command, including reviewing proposals, tracking progress, and handling sales to foreign militaries.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Program Analyst in the SYSCOM Security Cooperation Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Communicating with international partners via written and oral communications for the purpose of establishing requirements and executing programs.

2.) Demonstrating understanding of Foreign Military Sales programs to include disclosure, case development and case execution.

3.) Working with the defense acquisition and program execution to include development of Statements of Work and the contractual procurement process.

  • You will monitor operating programs/projects to measure progress towards reaching objectives effectively and economically.
  • You will develop, establish, coordinate and maintain a program/project management information reporting system sufficient for reference source.
  • You will identify actual or potential problem areas, trends, significant accomplishments, merit and deficiency situations, areas of imbalance, and other similar factors.
  • You will monitor termination processes of programs/projects.
