Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team that handles the buying and managing of contracts for naval aircraft maintenance centers, ensuring projects stay on time, within budget, and meet performance goals.

You'll oversee everything from planning purchases to tracking spending and leading selection processes for vendors.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Team Lead in the Acquisition Group, Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), of COMFLTREADCEN.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Managing pre and post contract award activities using enterprise contract vehicles, orders placed on those enterprise vehicles, and peculiar contracts; 2) Drafting and controlling acquisition documentation, developing and executing schedules, chairing competitions, developing and executing budgets, timely collection and presentation of project status and managing associated risks; 3) Managing one or more enterprise contract vehicles while meeting Cost, Schedule and Performance commitments made to COMFRC Leadership and customers; 4) Leading source selection and drafting assigned source selection documentation and briefings to the Decision Authority; 5) Leading all assigned Task Order and Enterprise contracts teams assigned to Department.
