Job Description

To qualify for a Program Manager Position, your resume and supporting documentation must support: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position.

To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

Creditable specialized experience includes: Informing and influencing acquisition decision makers through the integration of a broad number of personnel performing contract administration functions.

Serving as a corporate integrator, ensuring that acquisition partner information/data requirements are understood and translated to tangible performance outcomes.

Ensuring appropriate resources are in place to enable success and to solve technical issues that may arise.

Maintaining strategic relationships with assigned Defense Corporations/ contractors to inform them of acquisition-related policies and organizational polices. Major Duties:

  • Serves as the Agencies senior acquisition expert for assigned Defense Corporations.
  • Provides leadership and acquisition expertise pertaining to corporate analysis of performance trends and strategies, systems and engineering, technical, business and performance management expertise.
  • Serves as primary advisor for Defense Corporations; others defense contractors for analysis of performance, corporate behavior, business systems status (e.g. QPU, PARs) assessments across major business units of the Defense Corporation or contractor.
  • Uses various, complex methods of data analysis using DCMA data and data available from multiple other sources.
  • Provides leadership and acquisition expertise on the corporate analysis of performance trends and strategies, systems and engineering, technical, business, and performance management.
