Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading projects to plan, budget, and manage the development and delivery of support equipment for naval aircraft systems, ensuring everything stays on schedule and within budget.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the SE & ALRE Group, Support Equipment Department, PEO (U&W/JSF) PSE Division, UAS SE Branch at the of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional PROGRAM MANAGER performing some or all of the following duties: 1.) Planning, budgeting, and managing across all system areas for the identification, development, acquisition, production, and delivery of required Support Equipment (SE) for domestic and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers; 2.) Leading and managing projects and associated cost-schedule-performance efforts for assigned programs, including acquisition and life cycle management of SE; 3.) Coordinating and interfacing with appropriate Program Offices, NAVAIR and NAWCAD Departments, system commands, fleet representatives, government stakeholders, and contractors to ensure proper program execution; 4.) Leading multi-disciplined, cross-site teams responsible for planning and executing SE acquisition, fielding, and sustainment strategies; 5.) Making major program recommendations concerning program direction, resources, policies, and schedules to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • You will direct the development of information systems to track program status and progress.
  • You will serve as a liaison between various DoD activities, headquarters, and contractors.
