This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6), Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System (FNCVACHCS).
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 04/06/2026.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service.
An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.
If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement.

You may qualify based on your experience and/or educationas described below: GS-09: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: assisting with tracking data and statistical information; research, assemble and summarize data into reportable formats for presentation to management.

Major Duties:
Major duties include but not limited to: Performs work involving the collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information in support of the organization's program operation.
Assists in the development, implementation, maintenance and technical operation of the Light Electronic Action Frame (LEAF) program under the guidance of the LEAF Program Coordinator.
Establishes protocols for incoming data, organizes computerized data sets, and retrieves computerized data. Evaluates and trends results of audits for review by LEAF Program Coordinator.
Assists users in the creation and management of their LEAF actions and in migrating and loading content.
Ensures stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the LEAF system by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting the application and optimizing the system fields.
Provides administrative support to the LEAF program and process improvement staff including administrative duties for the LEAF Oversight Committee. Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Telework: This position may be authorized for AD HOC telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
