(2) Coordinating training allocation strategies across federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies based on projections and congressional funding to meet optimal enrollment needs.

(3) Providing technical guidance to team members and management on policy, directives and procedures associated with allocations for training requirements.

(4) Maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to determine training projections, allocations, registrations for training programs.

(5) Analyzing training data to include the fluctuations of scheduling, cost, and pre-registration procedures in order to make recommendations to management on mitigating problems that may arise.

You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as: (1) Assisting with coordinating and administering training programs to include registration, training allocation and solving problems related to scheduling issues.

(2) Providing technical and administrative support to team members and external partners to communicate policy changes and procedures.

(3) Gathering and analyzing training data to identify issues, recommend solutions, and prepare reports for management to advise on training projections, allocations, registrations for training programs.

(4) Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including agency representatives and contractors, to resolve routine training-related issues.

(5) Operating an administrative scheduling system to register, modify, analyze and plan for student enrollment in unique training programs.

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level. All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.

Time-in-grade: Current General Schedule (GS) federal employees, and those that have served in GS positions within the last 52 weeks, must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade, or a combination of the next lower grade level and an equivalent band in the federal service by the closing of this announcement.

Major Duties:

Serving as a Program Analyst (Training Admissions) GS-0343-12/13 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission.

This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Ops (TOPS), Training Management Operations Directorate (TMO), Training Resources Coordination Division (TRC), Training Resources Analysis and Allocations Branch (TRAAB).

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Program Analyst primarily responsible for the management of training projections, allocations and registration for all Center Basic (CB), Center Integrated Basic (CIB), Agency Specific Basic (ASB), Agency Advanced (AA) and Center Advanced (CA) training for the FLETC enterprise, ensuring all classes run at optimal capacity.

Typical duties include: Leading daily operations and oversight of all Training Admissions and Registration Specialists.

Implementing management decisions, guidance, and policies in the development of setting priorities, short range planning and integrating the work.

Maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, Partner Organizations (PO) representatives, customers and contractors from a wide variety of federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies.

Analyzing and evaluating data to make recommendations for class scheduling and program adjustments. Coordinate with agencies and contractors to resolve training issues and manage class rosters.

Collect, analyze, and compile requested data in response to information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
