Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team to manage naval aviation support programs, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality goals while handling engineering and logistics for aircraft maintenance and readiness.

A good fit would be someone with strong experience in program management, especially in defense or fleet support, who can develop strategies, analyze data, and coordinate with various teams to solve operational challenges.

  • At least one year of specialized experience at GS-13 level or equivalent in program management, policy development, operational requirements management, and acquisition/sustainment strategies
  • Expertise in Fleet Support Team (FST) Program Management

Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (IPT LEAD) in the Fleet Support Team (FST) Group of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Expert in Fleet Support Team (FST) Program Management; 2.

Developing and implementing policies and procedures needed to facilitate meeting the program's goals; 3. Effectively managing operational requirements; 4.

Developing acquisition and sustainment strategies.

  • You will coordinates/facilitates deliverables that include engineering and logistics aspects for things like aircraft modifications, readiness issues, depot capabilities, etc.
  • You will work with data, data sets and performs data analytics in support of various efforts/issues.
