Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing training, manpower planning, and mobilization efforts for reserve personnel at a naval magazine focused on ordnance operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly during activations.
You'll analyze needs, develop plans, and handle budgets to keep the team ready for missions involving explosives and ship support.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in military logistics or program coordination who enjoys detail-oriented work in a structured government environment.
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the ORDNANCE OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVMAG INDIAN ISLAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating reserve and active duty manpower training/certification requirements for an ordnance program to make recommendations for improving operational readiness and/or organizational effectiveness.
