Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in Code 700, Lifting and Handling Department, Regional Division Code 750 of PSNS and IMF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives and identifying trends and indicators of non-compliance or problem areas with established programs to recommend changes or improvements.

  • You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate various departmental programs.
  • You will evaluate Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports in support of process improvement programs.
  • You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations and program effectiveness.
  • You will make recommendations on appropriate actions to resolve instances of program noncompliance and reverse adverse trends.
  • You will coordinate continuous process improvement initiatives as assigned, and coordinate department level audit responses.
  • You will prepare and issue a weekly, quarterly, and yearly assessment report for all established programs and special reports as needed.
