Job Description

Summary

This job involves managing budgets, tracking spending, and ensuring efficient operations for vehicle fleets and real property in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

You'll analyze trends, develop funding plans, and coordinate with teams to keep everything compliant with rules and budgets.

Key Requirements

Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) of MARFORRES NOLA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector administering automotive and/or material handling equipment fleets.

This includes the development and administration of Fleet Management programs by evaluating requirements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational non-tactical vehicle operations, accountability, forecasting and budgeting, and analyzing problems while ensuring standards are within regulatory and budgetary restrictions.

  • You will serve as the Program Analyst accomplishing budget formulations, trend analysis, and execution evaluations of all Real Property funding requirements.
  • You will develop and issue guidance to, and coordinate with MARFORRES G-4 Operations Officer in the development of quarterly and annual budgets and budget estimates.
  • You will monitor the use and rate of expenditure of all Fleet Management funds.
  • You will serve as the primary point of contact for projecting GSA funding requirements.
  • You will identify and validate Responsible Individual (RI) proper procedures in maintaining records ensuring their GSA vehicles are audit ready.
