This job involves analyzing and managing Navy programs focused on long-range weapons and digital warfare, including budgeting, planning, and coordinating requirements across military, industry, and tech teams.
A good fit would be someone with experience in government or defense project management who can handle big budgets, communicate clearly with top leaders, and turn strategic goals into actionable plans.
You will serve as a Program Analyst (Long Range Fires Analyst) in the Digital Warfare Office of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Program Analyst specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a foundational knowledge of and experience with Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution processes, experience developing requirements for programs of record and an ability to interpret strategic goals and to align resources to requirements in a prioritized order.
Examples of specialized experience include 1) Experience effectively communicating (written, verbal and visual) with executive level leaders; 2) Ability to develop initial courses of action (COAs) to address difficult problem; and 3) Knowledge of the principles and practices of financial and program management to plan and direct the planning and programming as resource sponsor of long-range, high priority programs involving extremely large budgets.
