Summary

This job involves overseeing contracts and agreements for a high-tech hypersonic weapon program in the Navy, including managing contractor performance, reviewing payments, and briefing leaders on project status.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience with contract management, execution, and contractor performance. Experience executing pre-award to post-award procedures.

  • You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) hypersonic weapon system program, managing acquisition projects, contracts, and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements.
  • You will implement program-wide COR policies, manage training and assignment processes, and act as the primary liaison for all COR and Agreements Officer Representative (AOR) matters.
  • You will support COR leads with contract development, strategic planning, and execution management.
  • You will maintain a complete and organized COR file for each assigned contract.
  • You will review and approve/reject contractor invoices and vouchers for payment.
  • You will report on contractor performance, including documenting evaluations in systems like CPARS.
  • You will prepare and deliver briefings to leadership on contract status, prime contractor performance, and impacts to program requirements.
