Job Description

Summary

This job involves overseeing the complete process of developing and testing advanced flight systems, from initial planning and design through production, integration, and evaluation, for the Navy's strategic programs.

It requires working closely with government partners, managing budgets and contracts, and advising leaders on technical issues.

A good fit would be an experienced engineer who enjoys leading complex projects in defense technology and collaborating with diverse teams.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field meeting OPM professional engineering standards
  • At least one year of specialized experience at GS-13 or equivalent level managing full lifecycle of reentry or flight-test programs
