Requirements

As a Program Analyst 1, you will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing statistical data for the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program, the Vehicle Safety Inspection Program, the Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspection Program, quality assurance violations, and sanctions by developing, automating, and maintaining program dashboards and associated macros.

You will also assist in producing internal and external reporting methods used to determine programmatic effectiveness and provide recommendations on areas of improvement or that need closer monitoring.


In addition, you will assist with implementing
studies and projects to review and evaluate the Vehicle Inspection Programs, assess program effectiveness and the extent to which goals and objectives are achieved. You will prepare, review, and maintain a wide-range of graphs, tables, and data reports, as well as develop and maintained user manuals for the various units in the Vehicle Inspection Division and numerous external partners.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS).
  • Occasional overtime may be required.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the 6 month probationary period.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of paraprofessional analytical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
