Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of repairs and modifications for Navy ships to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
You'll manage everything from initial planning and cost estimates to handling procurement and preventing unauthorized changes during maintenance periods.

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the Waterfront Operations Department of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience coordinating repairing and alternating work, developing and executing technical reviews, preparing scope, and estimating costs of work.
Experience serving as pre-production Advance Planning Manager and as pre-production and execution Project Manager of assigned availabilities.
Experience planning for contract administration, procurement regulations, and technical aspects of ship repair and overhaul.
Experience determining, coordinating, and implementing complex planning and overhaul requirements for Navy vessels.
