Requirements

In this position, you will interpret and apply procurement policies to proposed contract documents, determining their appropriateness and making necessary revisions to facilitate processing.

You will review procurement documentation and actions to ensure compliance with applicable rules, policies, and procedures.

In this role, you will develop strong working knowledge of procurement methods, procedures, technical writing, and contract principles.

You will use critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues, interpret and apply regulations and policies, analyze both written and numerical data, communicate effectively, and build and maintain productive working relationships.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Paid parking is included with this position.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. Tuesdays are a mandatory office day.

    You will have the option of choosing Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays as your second office day.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience performing technical purchasing or contract management work; and a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, project, or operations management, or a related field; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
