Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves analyzing and managing procurement processes for the Navy, including interpreting laws and regulations, developing policies, and training staff to ensure efficient contracting.

You will serve as a Procurement Analyst within NAVSUP FLC SD GF.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized Experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpret and apply Federal DoD and DON contracting laws, regulations, principles and procedures to manage programs and provide guidance on all aspects of procurement; 2) Initiate, develop, and recommend contracting policies and procedures for the guidance and control of contracting offices; 3) Review changes and analyzes impact of change to contracting regulations and policy letters from higher headquarters; 4) Conduct procurement training to contracting personnel.
5) Review and analyze contracting work to ensure and determine efficiency, economy and effectiveness and 6) Prepare written policies, procedures, and guidelines to transmit implementing procurement information.
