If you enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment responsible for the production of time-sensitive publications, correspondence, documents, and other materials to specifications, this is the job for you.

Requirements

As a Print Production Technician, you will operate commercial high-speed, production-level digital printing, duplicating, binding, mail processing, and related equipment.

Work includes preparing jobs for production and identifying and processing job files.

You can expect to determine appropriate settings, configure equipment by programming job specifications, releasing jobs from queues and monitoring progress.

This position operates high-speed mail insertion and sorting machines and related peripherals and software.

Your attention to detail will be key as you perform quality assurance and quality control reviews, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency with requested specifications.

Our team will rely on you to troubleshoot, correct errors and perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs to equipment. Additional duties:

  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages according to guidelines
  • Track and enter data regarding incoming and outgoing mail, providing supervisor with daily manifest data
  • May train, guide, or lead less experienced team members

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Print Production Operator; or
  • One year of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
