This job involves operating high-speed mail and printing equipment in a busy government facility, handling tasks like setting up machines, inspecting print quality, performing binding and packaging, and sometimes leading a team to meet tight deadlines.

You'll contribute to delivering essential materials for the state while advancing your skills in production operations.

As a Print Production Technician, you will be responsible for completing mail production activities in a fast-paced environment using the latest technologies.
Work involves setting up and operating mail equipment as well as performing quality assurance and quality control inspections to ensure print quality is consistent throughout the entire run and all work is completed within scheduled deadlines.
You will also be responsible for performing hand-related bindery tasks including comb binding, spiral binding, banding, padding, and envelope insertion; and packing, wrapping, and sealing materials for delivery.
You will have the opportunity to function as a lead worker for print production activities by assigning and reviewing work, training employees, and performing quality control functions.
