60% - Essential - Plumbing Maintenance: Assists in approximately 800 Eyewash/Safety Shower yearly inspections. From floor to inspect visually sprinkler heads in or below ceiling.
Assists in Unstopping blockages in all types of plumbing fixtures and building drains.
Assists in Installs and maintains plumbing fixtures, water distribution pipes and fittings on drains, water and vent pipes and fittings, and other related equipment according to the Standard Plumbing Code.25% - Essential - Fire Suppression System Maintenance: Assist in scheduled inspections, testing and preventative maintenance according to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Clemson University Fire Marshal guidelines.
Ensures reliability of sprinkler systems and related building fire fighting components.
Documents testing, inspections, maintenance and repairs utilizing University Facilities Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).10% - Essential - Respond to flooding plumbing emergencies until on call staff arrives (basic knowledge of plumbing valves, shut offs and stop's)5% - Essential - Safety: Promotes a safe workplace and demonstrate safe work practices.
