As an Equipment Operator with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, you play a vital role in keeping our roadways safe, especially during the demanding winter months when snow removal is essential to public safety.
Your work goes far beyond plowing—you will also support a variety of construction and maintenance projects where your skill and attention to detail directly influence the quality and reliability of our transportation infrastructure.
Each day brings hands-on, physically engaging tasks that highlight the importance of teamwork, communication, and dedication.
In this role, you will operate heavy equipment, perform minor repairs, and complete routine maintenance to keep vehicles and machinery in top condition.
