Job Description
This position is a training and career development opportunity with a Water Production or Water Reclamation facility. This position may be assigned to any of Gwinnett County’s five water facilities in Buford, Lilburn or Norcross.

Essential Duties
  • Assisting operators with lab samples, testing, and analysis
  • Filing/Record keeping
  • Organizing Operations and Maintenance Manuals, and Water Production / Reclamation plant drawings
  • Light maintenance duties such as cleaning and painting
The Grade for this position is 97.

Hourly rate
$20.36 per hour, up to 29 hours per week, not to exceed 1,560 hours per year

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • A valid driver's license
  • Must be available to work 24 hours per week; between Monday and Friday
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software
  • Basic math skills

Physical Requirements:
Moderate physical activity including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
