Full Job Description
Responsibilities
- You will work with Curriculum and Fire Service personnel to research, develop and implement accredited level cognitive and manipulative testing.
- You will work with the testing coordinator to process accredited level course packages.
- You will perform duties of data entry, creating text boxes, issuing certificates and updating student transcripts.
- You will assist with remote and on-site testing for accredited level testing.
- You will act as a liaison between subject matter experts and curriculum and accreditation to develop skill sheets.
- You will perform other duties as assigned to assist with accreditation.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fire service experience specific to accreditation.
- Two (2) years’ experience in educational program development and testing.
- Knowledge in firefighter training techniques and testing requirements.
- Interpersonal and computer skills.
- Ability to understand NFPA Professional Qualifications Standards and Job Performance Requirements and how to apply them to adequately to measure both cognitive and manipulative skills through testing.
- Must have data entry and strong organizational skills
Other Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (15 to 29 hours per week)
- Daily, overnight and weekend travel may be required.
- Must be able to stoop and lift to 50 pounds.
