Summary
This job is for a part-time physics teacher at a technical college who will instruct inmates in a prison setting on basic physics concepts without hands-on experiments.
The role involves using different teaching styles and technology to deliver lessons on flexible schedules.
It's ideal for someone with a strong background in physics education and experience teaching adults or in non-traditional environments.
Key Requirements
- Master's degree in physics or a related discipline
- Or master's degree in any field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in physics or related discipline
- Submit copy of graduate transcripts with application (unofficial acceptable)
- Teaching experience preferred, especially at community/technical colleges or secondary schools
- Ability to teach conceptual physics without laboratory components
