Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900
Typical requirements: Executive-level leadership experience. Senior executive qualifications required.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves reviewing inmate records to decide if they qualify for parole or early release, preparing reports and recommendations for the parole board, and conducting related investigations.
It also includes helping with preparations before release and working with community partners to ensure everything meets standards.
A good fit would be someone with a background in social sciences or criminal justice who has experience in probation or parole work and enjoys analyzing cases to support rehabilitation.
A bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral science courses and experience in probation and parole work.
A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology, education, counseling, or other social/behavioral science or a bachelor’s degree which includes at least 15 credit hours in the aforementioned disciplines.
Some experience with pre-parole investigations and/or parole examinations.
