This job involves working in a 24/7 monitoring center to handle urgent communications, relay messages to parole staff, and track potential violations by people on parole using electronic systems.
You'll review files, prioritize alerts, and keep detailed logs to ensure quick responses to emergencies.

As a Parole Communications Operator, you will provide support to parole supervision staff by receiving, interpreting, transmitting, and coordinating communications and activities in the twenty-four (24) hour operations monitoring center.
You will prioritize and respond to both urgent and emergency messages received through various electronic means.
You will also relay messages and other communications to parole supervision staff and evaluate alert data concerning potential violations by offenders subject to electronic monitoring.
This role requires strong analytical skills to review offender files and controlling sentence information as well as the ability to prioritize notifications in order to respond in a timely manner to all communications.
In addition, you will maintain accurate logs and files, operate and monitor two-way radios, and interpret information received from the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network/National Crime Information Center (CLEAN/NCIC) and Justice Network (JNET) terminals.
