The Department of Corrections is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Parole Supervisor to join our Harrisburg District Office team.

NOTE: Senate Bill 411 merged the Department of Corrections and the Board of Probation and Parole. This position is within the Department of Corrections.

In this position, you will assign caseloads and investigations, including pre-parole, pre-transfer, pre-sentence, special investigations, and other related work assignments.
You will review agent reports to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as accuracy, clarity, quality, and timeliness.
You will conduct administrative conferences with agents, reentrants, and Assessment, Sanctioning, Community Resource Agents to closely monitor reentry issues, provide guidance, develop appropriate sanctions, and support efforts to reduce repeat violations.
Additional responsibilities include supervising and training parole agents by working closely with them to strengthen their professional skills, planning, organization, and overall effectiveness.
