This seasonal job involves hands-on maintenance work at a Pennsylvania state park, such as repairing buildings, operating equipment, mowing lawns, cleaning facilities, and helping visitors with information.
It's a full-time role from March to November each year, with no healthcare benefits, and requires working weekends and holidays as needed.

In this position, you will engage in routine manual tasks related to the custodial upkeep of the Susquehanna Riverlands State Park Complex.
Your responsibilities will involve either working independently or collaborating with a skilled worker to carry out maintenance and construction activities within the park.
This includes making repairs to buildings and facilities using tools from various trades such as carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
Additionally, you will be tasked with operating and maintaining vehicles and equipment, constructing simple forms for cement work, and performing ground maintenance tasks like mowing, cutting weeds, and cleaning up litter.
You will also be responsible for painting park structures, ensuring general housekeeping in restrooms and other facilities, and making minor repairs.
Furthermore, you will need to ensure the safe and proper use of all tools and equipment while assisting park visitors with information in a friendly and helpful manner.
