This job involves leading a team to maintain and improve facilities at Pymatuning State Park, ensuring everything from buildings and roads to grounds stays safe and welcoming for visitors.
You'll plan projects, manage budgets, and oversee daily work to keep the park in great shape.
It's ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, has hands-on experience in maintenance or construction, and enjoys leading a crew in a natural setting.

As a Park Maintenance Supervisor 2, you will be tasked with leading a crew of maintenance workers while planning and organizing the overall maintenance program for Pymatuning State Park.
This includes evaluating, prioritizing, and assigning construction, renovation, installation, repair, and maintenance projects for completion.
You will be responsible for creating work schedules and reviewing the work of subordinates on a daily basis to ensure work is being done according to assignments.
Specific duties will entail preparing material and supply lists for all projects; monitoring the budgetary status for projects and authorizing additional spending as necessary; ensuring for the accurate delivery of ordered supplies; and conducting inventories of supplies as needed.
The primary focus of this position is to ensure that all park maintenance related duties are accomplished in order to provide park visitors with a safe and enjoyable recreational experience.
