Most positions are at least moderately physical – walking, raking, bending, kneeling, lifting and moving lighter items (and heavier ones with assistance).

Park housing and RV parking are not available for this area.
This recruitment will be used to fill multiple non-permanent Park Aide positions located throughout the Olympic View Area; Fort Worden Historical, Fort Flagler Historical and Fort Townsend Historical State Parks.
The majority of positions are available and may begin March, April, May, or June and generally are 3-5 months in duration.
The number of vacancies and housing availability will vary from park to park.Positions in this area typically are scheduled to work 40 hours a week, but we may have ability to offer less than full-time work – over the entire period of employment or for specific periods.

Fort Worden Historical State Park - (located in Jefferson County) is a 434-acre multi-use park with over two miles of saltwater shoreline and a wide variety of services and facilities.
The park rests on a high bluff overlooking Puget Sound.
Many historic buildings remain at this 19th century military fort.Fort Flagler Historical State Park- (located in Jefferson County) is a 1469-acre marine camping park surrounded on three sides by 19,100-feet of saltwater shoreline.
The park rests on a high bluff overlooking Puget Sound, with views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains.
Many historic buildings remain at this 19th-century-established military fort.Fort Townsend Historical State Park- (located in Jefferson County) is 423 acres camping park featuring 3,960-feet of saltwater shoreline on Port Townsend Bay.
The heavily wooded park has a rich military history dating from pioneer days. The park offers nature and history interpretive events.
The 6.5 miles of hiking trails wander through a natural forest area.
